Whiskey River
Steamy Rock & Roll, Rocking Cajun and Zydeco Delta Blues fom the swamps and bayous of deepest Louisiana and the Mississippi Delta. Footstomping, handclapping, dancing, jumping up and down to the liveliest six-piece this side of New Orleans. In 2003, Aidan & Martin made a pilgrimage to the swamplands of Louisiana where the music is hot and so is the food. They came across a dance hall nestled on the edge of the Atchafalaya Swamp called 'Whiskey River Landing'
They had such a fine time there that they changed the name of the band on their return to the UK. They hope to be back in Whiskey River Landing very soon! Aidan and Martin perform as a Duo, a Trio with violinist Dan Cassidy or as a rollicking energy packed six-piece Zydeco band. In whatever line-up, Whiskey River never take prisoners!
