Talisman Sounds - Great Music, Great Artists

CNSP is now a multi award winning event...

One of the Guardians Top Three Green Festivals

UK Festival Awards Outstanding Green Festival award presented to Croissant Neuf Summer Party at a ceremony at the O2 Arena in London.

CNSP, the world’s first fully solar powered festival, won critical acclaim for its mix of showmanship, low energy technology, solar generators, a spectacular site and great bands.

The 2009 summer party, featuring veteran ska band The Beat, Virtual Festivals critics choice “Bowjangles”, Ella Edmondson and the Anomalies created a unique atmosphere in a stunning site, high in the Welsh hills, backing onto an iron age hill fort.

The Greener Festival award recognised the festival’s unique use of solar energy to power the entire site, locally sourced food and drink, solar showers and an in-house carbon offset scheme, where three trees are being planted on the festival site for every car that came to the event.

A CNSP commissioned Carbon Audit found that, on average, festival goers created less than half the CO2 than they would have generated in the course of a normal weekend. Despite operating entirely on solar power the quality of Croissant Neuf's sound stage has remianed top notch and been praised by the like of Paulo Nutini, The Beat and Nizlopi.

As well as these prodigious accolades we've also been recognised as the Greenest Event in Monmouthshire.
